Where it works
Works on Instagram bios, Discord names, footnote-style annotations. Does not work reliably on screen readers (may read superscript/subscript oddly), search indexing, password fields — these are separate Unicode characters, not a font applied to your text, so support depends entirely on whether the destination renders Unicode.

- Is subscript the same as small caps?
- No — small caps replaces lowercase letters with small capital-shaped forms; subscript drops characters below the baseline. They’re different Unicode character sets.
- Why do some letters not have a small version?
- Unicode only assigned true subscript/superscript/small-capital forms to a limited historical set of characters — letters without one fall back to the plain letter rather than a fabricated substitute (see the note under the output).
